- MACY'S ANNUAL SHOP FOR A CAUSE EVENT
- During August and September, supporters were able to purchase tickets through Prairie Advocacy Center to take part in Macy's Annual Shop for a Cause Event. Through this event, you saved money on your back to school / fall shopping experience AND supported your local Child Advocacy Center in the process. The 2008 Shop For a Cause Event profited Prairie Advocacy Center $345.00
- GREAT TOPEKA DUCK RACE
- The Prairie Advocacy Center once again, offered Duck Adoption Certificates for all those interested in participating in the Great Topeka Duck Race - a Topeka Sertoma event. Through this fun, family event our advocacy center raised more than $847! We couldn't have done it without you. Those who ordered adoption certificates online through the advocacy center's team were also invited to enjoy the winning team dinner at Texas Roadhouse. THE DINNER PARTY AT TEXAS ROADHOUSE WILL TAKE PLACE MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH AT 5:00PM. ALL TEAM MEMBERS ARE INVITED TO JOIN IN THE FUN!!! We are already looking forward to The Great Topeka Duck Race in 2009!
